Virat Kohli: Fastest ever to 10,000 ODI runs

Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 157 against the West Indies on Wednesday. After winning the toss, thanks to his superb century, Team India made 321 runs losing six wickets in the allotted 50 overs. During this, Virat also completed 1,000 runs in a calendar year in 2018. He is the second batsman to make these feats after 2018 England wicketkeeper-batsman Johnny Bairstow

Virat Kohli has become the first captain of the world to score more than 1,000 runs in both Test and ODIs in two consecutive calendar years. No other player as captain before them could do this. Virat had done this year in 2017 too.

Virat has scored 1063 runs in 10 Tests this year. In ODIs, his name has been 1046 runs in 11 matches. In the year 2017, Virat scored 1460 runs in 26 matches and scored 1059 runs in 10 matches
