Stuart Law resigns as Windies head coach

Stuart Law has resigned as head coach of the WindiesThe law had been a West Indies coach since 2017 but left to play a new role in Middlesex.

During his 19-month tenure on the top of West Indies Cricket, the law won Zimbabwe and Bangladesh on the Test series, as well as a memorable win against England in Leeds last year. Prior to this, in 2018, the legislation ensured the participation of the West Indies in 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup after finishing runners-up for Afghanistan in the ICC World Cup Qualifier.


The law will leave its role in the beginning of January and at the end of this year, India and Bangladesh will continue to move forward in the series in the series.

Talking about his departure, the law said: "I have to make a difficult decision to leave my role of Head Coach with CWI. It is very pleasant, and I believe we have been in the last two years Have taken tremendous steps in the form of the team.

"I would like to thank the players, employees and fans for their support in this period, I have appreciated it. I will play a role with Middlesex CCC which will keep me close to my family, while the cricket will continue within the family. I wish every success of CWI players and employees in the future. "After a disappointing year for the county, the law became involved in the Middlesex Set-Up after failing to win a promotion in Division One of the County Championship.
