Mohammed Hafeez recalled to Pakistan Test squad

Two years have passed since the last Test match, 37-year-old all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has been added to Pakistan's squad for the two test series against Australia.
He has continued to represent Pakistan in limited overs cricket and the Champions Trophy has played an important role in the 2017 victory but was out of favor in the long format.

He forced his way back in through a stellar season in the Quaid-e-Azam trophy, Pakistan’s first-class competition. With the bat he averaged 93.33 with a high score of 213, while with the ball he took 12 wickets at 15.58 with best figures of 6/62.
Hafeez has played 50 Tests since his debut in 2003. He has scored 3,452 runs at an average of 39.22 with nine centuries, and has taken 52 wickets at an average of 33.90 with a best haul of 4/16.
