The 2nd match is set to be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Having won the Champions Cup recently, Pakistan entered the series already on the back of some great momentum in the ODI format.

Ahmed Shehzad (PAK) – The 25-year-old has always been in and out of the team. Having made his debut way back in 2009, he has represented Pakistan in only 80 ODIs till now. His inconsistency has been something that has always hindered his presence in the national side. He didn’t manage to open his account in the opening game and will look to make a significant contribution in the 2nd game to help Pakistan continue their winning streak.
Akila Dananjaya (SL) – The 24-year-old made a huge impact in the recent series against India. Although Sri Lanka didn’t make any real impact in the series, players like Dananjaya grabbed the opportunity with both hands and ensured that they are a part of the ODI setup for future series. With pitches in UAE traditionally favouring the spinners, Dananjaya will look to make the same kind of impact in this series as well.
