Ed Joyce (IRE) – The 38-year-old top-order batsman has been a major part of Ireland’s rise in international cricket since he made his debut in 2006. He has played 72 ODIs for Ireland, scoring an impressive 2349 runs at an average of more than 36. As he enters the twilight of his career, Joyce will look to help his nation cement their place in all forms of cricket. He will be a vital cog for Ireland in the match against WI.
Ashley Nurse (WI) – Having made his debut against Sri Lanka last year, Nurse has been a regular feature in the ODI setup since then. He has picked up an impressive 26 wickets in 18 ODIs and has been very economical too. As WI begin the limited overs tour of England, Nurse will play an important role for the team as they look to put in a convincing performance against Ireland.
