IND vs AUS 6 in-form players to watch out for :Australia tour of India, 2017

After a resounding 5-0 win over Sri Lanka in their last ODI series, India are now preparing themselves for a much tougher challenge as they take on Australia in a five-match series.

This encounter between teams ranked second and third in the ICC rankings promises to be an enthralling one, and is a great opportunity for fans to test their skills on Dream11.

Here are six individuals you should have as part of your fantasy team for the first ODI between India and Australia in Chennai:

1) Virat Kohli (10.5 Credits)

Selecting the Indian captain as part of one’s fantasy cricket team is a no-brainer. Virat Kohli is ranked as the top batsman in ODI cricket and has already notched up 30 centuries in the format, level with Ricky Ponting, having played only 194 matches.

The man from Delhi averages an imposing 55.66 against Australia and looks set to extend his form from Sri Lanka, where he scored 330 runs in five matches.

2) David Warner (10 Credits)

The swashbuckling opening batsman has been a mainstay in the Australian team for many years now and would be focused on giving his team a solid platform to build on with his aggressive batting.

Ranked second in the ICC ODI rankings for batsmen, David Warner would want to improve on his average of 43.44 against India. His ability in the field also make him an extremely valuable addition.

3) Steven Smith (10 Credits)

The Australian captain had a brilliant outing against India in the Test series earlier this year, scoring 499 runs in the four-test series. Smith would be looking to continue the same form he exhibited then as he looks to lead his team to a series win.

He has a great batting record against the Indians in ODIs, having scored 467 runs in nine matches so far.

4) Rohit Sharma (9.5 Credits)

Rohit Sharma enjoys playing against Australia in ODIs and has recorded one of his two double centuries against them, an incredible knock of209 in Bangalore.

The elegant opener has scored 402 runs in seven matches, at an unbelievable average of 98.40, against the team from Down Under in ODIs played in India.

5) Pat Cummins (8.5 Credits)

The Australian bowling attack will be led by fast bowler Pat Cummins, who will assume a lot of responsibility in the absence of Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc.

After struggling with stay fit during the early years of his career, Cummins has had a relatively injury-free 2017, and would be focused on troubling the Indian batsmen with his pace and bounce, as he looks to seal his spot in the squad for the Ashes later this year.

6) Jasprit Bumrah (9 Credits)

The Indian pacer has bounced back in great style from his disastrous outing in the final of the Champions Trophy against Pakistan, picking up 15 wickets in five matches against Sri Lanka.

His unorthodox action, deceptive change of pace and ability to bowl yorkers consistently during the death overs makes him an important player for India. He will be key if India are to defeat Australia.
